What is Gout ?
Gout, also called gouty arthritis, is a chronic disorder of uric acid metabolism. It is revealed as acute attacks of a form of arthritis in which crystals of uric acid compounds appear in the synovial fluid of joints. The disease also is marked deposits of urate compounds in and around the joints of the extremities; these frequently lead to joint deformity and disability.
