FDA Compliance and the Medical Device Industry

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is an agency of the United States federal government which exists to protect and promote the health of consumers. FDA compliance must be a priority for manufacturers and importers of certain products proposed for sale on the US market. Products which are not established as compliant risk being held in the custody of customs should a company attempt to import it.
